The name Kote Africa comes from the Swahili word “Kote,” meaning “everywhere” or “every corner.” It reflects our belief that the true beauty of Africa is not found in one destination alone, but in every landscape, every culture, every wildlife encounter, and every story waiting to be discovered.

As a proudly locally owned and operated Tanzanian safari company, Kote Africa Safaris was founded by passionate safari professionals who grew up surrounded by the breathtaking beauty, wildlife, and cultures that make Africa extraordinary. This is not just where we work—it is our home.
